SOMETHING FOR THE SUMMER DAYS
A mango lassi is an Indian drink which is usually made in summers to quench ones thirst, a bit like a summer smoothie. They come in many flavors but today we I will be sharing the RECIPE for the Mango flavor (my personal favorite).
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1/2 a cup of mango pulp (can be tinned or fresh)
- 2 - 3 tbs sugar (adjust as required)
- 2/3 of a cup of water
In a blender add all your ingredients and blitz away. The water added determines the consistency of the lassi (a little more water if you like it slim and a little less if you prefer it thick).
Get your glasses, fill them with ice and pour over the mango lassi. Add a little mint and coconut on top and enjoy your summer drink!
